You FEEL me? Murder By Death's Adam Turla Tells You How He Feels on FELT Interview Series

Here at The Loving Touch we've created a fun little interview for the artists that we have coming in to play. Here Murder By Death's Adam Turla gives you his answers to the interview! Thanks Adam! Don't Forget to come see Murder By Death Play here on Friday November 4th!

If you could have FELT readers check out one song of yours, what would it be?: Hhmmmm Comin' Home or Oh To Be An Animal or Shiola

Tough question - what is your ultimate favorite album of all time?: Rise and fall of Ziggy stardust by Bowie

What is the best show you've ever played, and why?: Played a great show in Mccarthy, Alaska population 20, and 150 people showed up and partied with us in a little bar. WE had to ride a military truck loaded with our gear across a river to get to the town, then went ice climbing on a glacier the next day.

Is there a song that will make you cry, 9 times out of 10, if you let it? : Fairytale of New York by the Pogues makes me so sad/happy at the same time

If you had a song that just didn't want to be finished, which group would you call in to wrap that sucker up? : Any other band ever.

why?: I'd get someone with a darker edge. I respond more to artists who push boundaries rather than just fit in

If you could see one person in the audience when you perform, who would that be? What would they be wearing?:Prince, wearing David Bowie's italian opera clown outfit

Any bands you think people should seek out and pay attention to?: Twin Limb WHO IS PLAYING OUR SHOW THIS FRIDAY

What is your comic relief on the road? A band member, Netflix, prank phone call podcasts, etc?: Patton Oswalt routines on the van stereo keep us sane

Get FELT-The Hangrenades to Perform at Album Release Party Saturday November 5th!

"It’s no easy task for a band to progress their sound while retaining the distinctive elements honed in their early years. But Detroit’s the HandGrenades have pulled off this feat with aplomb, undergoing an evolution in both their physical makeup and sonic composition since forming in 2008. With 2011’s debut EP Three Cheers For the Wonder Years, the group established their trademark Beatlesesque melodies and three-part vocal harmonies, served with some garage rock edge and a bit of Motown flavor thrown in for good measure. The paradigm continued in a more refined manner with 2012’s full-length The Morning After, singer-songwriters Nick Chevillet and Andrew Pawelski (also on guitar and bass, respectively) alternating and merging vocals, Tom Pawelski on second guitar and vocals, and Joby Kaslowski manning the drum kit. Two years on, Jesse Shepherd-Bates stepped in when Tom moved on and Joel Sanders joined to add keys to the mix. With 2014’s Zach Shipps-produced 52 EP, the newly configured quintet’s guitar-driven structures surge with galvanizing immediacy while displayingsome more some ethereal, experimental tones. Their latest video — for 52’s closing track, “Wrapped in Plastic” —premiered on PopMatters and the group is eying a sophomore LP on the horizon. In the meantime, catch them live to be privy to one of the mitten state’s most energetic group of ruffians." - Cole Waterman

This should be a blast! Come see these guys do their thing! New album will rule you!

Get FELT- Randy and Lahey No Pants Unpissed U.S. Tour Here at The Loving Touch November 3rd!

Randy and Lahey are on vacation from the peaceful Sunnyvale Trailer Park and are pissing their pants all over the country! Come slug some drinks and get ripped with the mighty Duo on November 3rd here at The Loving Touch!

The Randy and Lahey show is a silly, sexist, drunken hour and a half of songs and skits, audience participation, profanity, Shakespeare, and general hilarity. Over the past eight years it has developed into the fastest moving two man show in the known universe.

From Newfoundland to Vancouver Island several hundred thousand people have thrilled to Randy and Lahey's shennanigins. It's a constantly moving showcase of two television icons who pull no punches when battering the audience with "Batman and Robin" or "The Shit Rap." The innocent honesty of an out- of-control drunken ex-cop Trailer Park Supervisor and his side-kick Randybobandy the cheeseburger eating ex male prostitute, weekend Trailer Park Supervisor is pants pissing humor at its warmest.

The show itself is roughly based on the T.V. series and movies, but being live, necessitates a different format and different is the operative word here. There is nothing like it anywhere. Shit talk and poetry; sodomy and sweet talk all thrown together with music and mayhem. What more could a room full of fun seekers want.

Get FELT - Frankie Cosmos

Greta Kline’s musical output as Frankie Cosmos exemplifies the generation of musicians born out of online self-releasing. Kline initially built a reputation with her prolific catalog of bedroom recordings and as a performer and advocate of New York’s All Ages DIY scene. The beauty in Kline’s writing does not lie within immense statements and large gestures, but instead can be found in her ability to examine situations and relationships with heartbreaking sincerity. In 2014 Kline released her first studio album, Zentropy. Within months of its release, Zentropy became one of the most critically acclaimed independent albums of the year and was named New York Magazine’s #1 Pop album of 2014.

In 2015 Kline signed to Bayonet Records, immediately releasing an EP where she experimented with writing in an electronic setting. The EP Fit Me In was well received and garnered a Best New Track from Pitchfork. Kline then began recording her next album appropriately titled, Next Thing. Like Zentropy, Kline approached Next Thing by fleshing out several old home recordings, and by writing half of the album from scratch. Next Thing explores new emotional and instrumental territory for Kline, and is slated for release April 1st on Bayonet Records.
